On Friday October 14, 10 of us went to North Freedom and rode the train.  Great experience.  The weather was perfect.  A beautiful fall day.  After the train ride we drove to Praire du Sac and had lunch at the Blue Spoon. 
The North Freedom depot is fun to visit.  They have an old fashioned ticket booth and a replica of an old waiting room and a gift shop.  They also have a picnic lunch are where you can bring your own or buy brats hot dots etc.
